Oculus / Meta
It can obviously run the 300 free and paid-for apps and games available from
Oculus dot com. And, thanks to the Multi-user Account and App Sharing system
begun in July of 2021, each headset owner can allow three other people to have
separate profiles in their one headset, and they can share their purchased apps
with one other person’s headset; so, two friends only need to pay for one game
that can be shared over two headsets.

PCVR and Steam
The Quest 2, combined with a VR ready, high-end gaming computer, or a Shadow
PC online, can also run all of the thousands of VR apps and games on Steam too!
And, it can do so in a wired or wireless mode, thanks to a high-quality cable, or
wirelessly with Air Link or Virtual Desktop. NOTE: If you want to use a cable
connection while playing PCVR games, make sure you use at least a USB 3.2 Gen 1
5Gbps/3A cable.

Transferring Files to and From Your Quest 2, Please Note:
In order for your PC to see your Quest 2, so you can manage the audio and video
files on the headset, to be able to add or remove your own personal video files to
or from the Quest 2 Movies folder, you must first turn your headset on, until you
are on your Home screen, before plugging a USB cable into your computer, and
then plugging the other “C” end into the headset. After you have connected the
cable to the headset, you’ll have to click on the “Allow” option that pops up on
the headset screen; after which your PC will now be able to see all of the files and
folders in the headset, including the Movies folder where you will drop your
movies and other videos to watch. Note: For best transfer speeds, make sure
you use at least a USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps/3A cable.

To Turn on the Passthrough Camera Shortcut
1. In your headset, bring up the Quest menu by pressing the Oculus button
on your right controller. Click on the clock at the bottom left to access
Quick Settings.
2. In Quick Settings click ‘Settings’ (gear icon) at the top right
On the left of the Settings section select ‘Guardian’
3. Now scroll until you find ‘Passthrough Shortcut’ and flip the switch
Any time you can’t see the outside world, double-tap the side of your
headset with your hand or controller to instantly see into the real world.
Double tap again to return to VR.
